Sule returns from US vacation amid tumultuous welcome

Lafia the capital city of Nasarawa state was agog on Wednesday as citizens came out in their numbers to welcome Governor Abdullahi Sule who returned from vacation in US.

CAPITAL POST can reliably reports that people started trooping in to welcome the governor at the Lafia gate as early as 6am.

Some people who spoke to our correspondent said that they are at the venue to receive their governor who was away for two weeks.

“We prayed to Allah to continue to protect and guide him in piloting the affairs of our dear state.

Some of them shed tears of joy for sighting Sule stepping into the city in good health condition.

Speaking, Chairman of Lafia Local Government council, Comrade, Aminu Mua’zu Maifata described Sule as mesaenger who came to salvage the state.

He called on people of the State to continue to support the present administration under governor Abdullahi Sule and APC for the betterment of all.
