Breaking: Bello appoints Ohinoyi of Ebira Chairman, Kogi Council of Chiefs

Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed Ohinoyi of Ebira land, HRM Dr. Ado Ibrahim as Chairman, Kogi State Council of Chiefs in acting capacity.
The appointment on Monday followed the death of Attah Igala, HRM,. Dr. Idakwo Ameh Oboni II, who died late August in Abuja Private hospital.
This is the first time the headship of traditional rulers has changed to Kogi Central Senatorial district, a departure from the majority tribe leading the traditional rulers.
There have been agitation for the rotation of Chairmanship of Kogi State traditional rulers among the three districts.
Meanwhile, the race for succession to the the throne of Attah Igala is gathering momentum with the kingmakers currently consulting.
