Abducted Katsina school students: President Buhari welcomes release

President Muhamadu Buhari reacting to the release of the abducted boys of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State said, he welcome their.release.

He vowed to do all things within his powers to protect lives and properties.

But in a news monitored on Channels Television on Thursday night, it was reported that there is anxiety in Katsina upon news that the abducted boys have been released.

According to the report, the released boys have left Zamfara forest after spending five days in custody of the bandits.

The boys will directly be handed over to Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari who will decide when to hand them over to their parents.

Meanwhile, Katsina residents are in joyous mood as people gather in groups to discuss the release of the abducted boys.

Also, Katsina capital has been heavily fortified against any breakdown of law and order due to earlier threats of protests by groups who are demanding for the release of the boys.
