Breaking: EndSARS: Thugs on rampage in Kogi, one dead, journalist shot

Suspected armed thugs in show of force over hoodlums looting of Agricultural Development Project (ADP) warehouse in Lokoja on Sunday went wild on Monday morning thereby shooting sporadically.
A passerby was reportedly killed in front of Zenith Bank as a result of sporadic shooting, while residents scampered for safety.
The thugs who were reacting to the earlier hoodlums attack on ADP warehouse, an agency of the State government, shot the Sun Newspapers Kogi State correspondent, Mr. Emmanuel Adeyemi who was on his way to the NUJ for the day’s work.
Sources told CAPITAL POST that the shot journalist was not covering the incident, but he was coming from house after spending weekend to the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
The shot journalist has been immediately taken to an undisclosed private hospital.
CAPITAL POST reports that Kogi State Governor on Sunday read riot act to hoodlums.
In a statement which was issued by his Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo maintained that hoodlums should stay away from Kogi, noting that they would not be spared, if attempts are made to loot warehouses in Kogi State.
