Permsec appointment solely on merit, not lobbying – Nasarawa Governor

Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule said gone are the days when directors in service of the state will be going up and down lobbying for appointment as permanent secretaries.
“Only your performance will give you Permanent secretary position. stopped lobbying and be dedicated to your job. Sule tells directors.
“Let me emphasise here that
the era of traditional rulers, party leaders, stakeholders lobbying has gone.
He gave the declaration at Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, government house, Lafia.
Sule mandated the office of Head of Service and facilitator of the workshop to conduct an aptitude test for the participants of the exercise.
“For assure everyone that qualified for the appointment will be given opportunity to serve the state irrespective of tribe, religion or political differences.
