Gana: Ex-lawmaker exonerates Ortom, Suswam of complicity

Hon. Timothy Iorchor who served as Majority leader of the Benue State House of Assembly between 1999 and 2003 has exonerated the State governor, Samuel Ortom and Senator representing Benue Northeast, Gabriel Suswam of any complicity in the killing of Terwase Akwaza, alias Gana by the military.
The militia leader was assassinated last week Tuesday as he came out of hiding to participate in Benue State’s amnesty programme by the soldiers from 4 Special Forces in Doma, Nasawara State.
Since the killing of the militia, it’s being about insinuations, rumours and speculations in Benue of complicity that led to the gang leader’s death.
The Nation quoted Iorchor to have denied of Ortom and Suswam’s involvement, saying that they were interested in peace of the State.
