Breaking: Visa ban: Nigeria, US meet

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, delegation and United States Ambassador are currently meeting in Abuja to discuss Visa ban slammed on some government officials alledgedly involved in election rigging in Nigeria.
Sources revealed that the meeting is taking place in the conference room of the Minister of Foreign Affairs’s office in the Ministry.
The meeting is expected to work out the differences between the US government and Nigeria that led to banning some personalities from travelling to US.
Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister was said to have prepared his staunch defense of government in order to persuade the US authority to back down.
The Nigerian delegation is headed by the Permanent Secretary, MFA, Amb. Mustapha Sulaiman, while the American side is headed by the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Leonard.
The Comptroller General of Immigration and his Senior Management officials are also in attendance at the meeting.
