The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that the Commission is committed to partner with the church leaders as preparation for the 2020 Pilgrimage to Israel had commenced.
He disclosed this recently in his office while playing host to delegation from the Assemblies of God Church, Mangu district of Plateau state.
Rev. Pam said, “the Church is the Centre of National Development and this would be achieved by preaching love and by shunning unnecessary criticisms.
He informed that the Commission had reduced the cost of Pilgrimage this year to make it more affordable for Christians to travel to the Holy Land.
He intimated that the Commission had commenced its sensitization to states to canvass for pilgrimage sponsorship.
Earlier, the leader of the Delegation, Rev. Istifanus Ishaya appreciated the Executive Secretary for acknowledging their visit, adding that they were in NCPC to felicitate with their own on his well deserved appointment.
He charged the Executive Secretary to keep faith as God would grant him the wisdom to discharge his duty without fear or favour.
He urged the Executive Secretary to show them support in any way possible. He prayed that God would uphold the Executive Secretary and grant him grace to succeed.
