Shehu Sani tells Buhari not to give security bailout to governors

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has opposed the release of security bailout to governors.
In a post on his verified twitter handle on Wednesday, Sani pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari not to give out bailout to anyone.
He however, said, government should adequately fund the Nigeria security agencies to enable them tackle what he called ‘chronic security challenges.’
He wrote:
“Dear President, don’t give out any Bailout funds to anyone, rather fund and equip the Military, the Police and other security agencies to be able to fully tackle our chronic security challenges.”
Governors in Nigeria on Tuesday appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari for bailout funds to enable them tackle insecurity in their various states, a development that has elicited reaction from the former lawmaker and Civil Rights activist.
