Kogi Federal lawmaker commends President Buhari over award of road contract in Constituency

Member representing Ankpa/Olamaboro/Omala Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the award of the age long Makurdi-Naka Adoka-Ankpa roads.
The Federal Lawmaker says the road award under SUKUK fund of the Federal government, will be the best thing that will happen to the people of the area after over three decades.
Hon. Ali maintained that the roads have been yearning for goverment attention in the last four decades, saying that at a point they have become a nightmare to Benue and Kogi people who daily pass through the road.
He said the roads are very important route that links not only Benue state, but easy access to South-South, South- East, and North-Central States.
The lawmaker posited that the roads that have been death traps and easy access for criminal elements would be safer after rehabilitation.
He thanked the government of Kogi and Benue State, for making recommendation to the Federal government on the desire to reconstruct the roads, that also serve as commercial routes for both motorists and the business class .
The Federal Lawmaker assured the APC Federal government of unalloyed support of the people of his Constituency in its determination to provide infrastructural development to the area.
