Jonathan arrives Villa, in closed-door meeting with Buhari

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has arrived the Presidential villa and immediately went in a close door meeting with his host, President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dr. Jonathan arrived at Aso Rock about 11 am on Tuesday.
The former President was appointed a reconciliator by the Economic Community of West African States, a subregional body to mediate in the leadership crisis rocking Mali.
After his intervention penultimate week in the Mali crisis, Jonathan recommended government of national unity in the country but the opposition group had turned down the recommendation.
CAPITAL POST could not ascertain the rationale for Tuesday’s call on the Aso Rock villa, but may not be unconnected with the development in Mali.
