Breaking: Magu released from detention

The embattled former acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has been released.
He was released after spending ten days in detention on orders of the presidential panel probing him.
He was arrested by the Secret Police on July 6, 2020.
The suspended EFCC boss was accused of being unable to account for the interest accrued to recovered funds of about N550bn and purchase of property in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
