Kogi: Six Isanlu Bank robbery gangs nabbed

Six of the armed robbers who killed eight Police officers including a police woman and two civilians barely two weeks ago have been arrested.

They were arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) who were on their trail since the incident happened.

The suspects were in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital to lodge part of the stolen money in an undisclosed bank when they were arrested.

The dare devil armed robbers attacked the police station, innIsanlu before proceded to tje First Bank and riddled the building with bullets before rhey robbed while the undisclosed amount of money was carted away.

Four suspects were initially picked by SARS from Abeokuta in Ogun state, and whisked away to Abuja, while two other suspects were picked in Kabba, Kogi state.

The Suspects are already co-operating with the police, in terms of information gathering, regarding the robbery.

Recall that, on the 4th of June, the robbers invaded the Police station, killing the DPO, and seven other police officers.
