Ortom commiserates with Buratai over mother’s death

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, on behalf of the Government and people of the state, has commiserated with Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai over the death of his mother, Kakah Hajja Buratai who died on Tuesday, May 5th 2020.
Ortom says the death of a loved one such as a mother can be quite painful, devastating and irreparable.
He encourages the Chief of Army Staff who he describes as a partner of Benue State in the area of security to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a life worthy of emulation and has gone to rest with Almighty God.
“Hajiya Kakah will be remembered for her selfless service and commitment to the well being of humanity and the less privileged in particular.
“May God grant the deceased eternal rest and her family the strength to bear the loss.”
