Health Sciences University VC, Ujah emerges NMA President

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Professor Innocent Ujah has emerged as President of the Nigeria Medical Association.
The newly-appointed Vice-Chancellor emerged after a keenly contested election into the office of the President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA)
The election which took place on Saturday in Jos during the 2020 conference of the Association was rancorous free with Prof.
Ujah polling 347 votes to floor his closest rival, Oguzie Jerry, who scored 19 votes.Ibekwe Titus came third with 6 votes while Katibi Ibraheem got 5 votes.
Ujah was born on November 6, 1954 and is a native of Aidogodo in Okpokwu LGA.
Prof. Innocent Ujah, a prouduct of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, was a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) and the former Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), Yaba, Lagos.

1st Vice President-Prof Rasaaq Adebayo
2nd Vice President-Dr Daiyabu Ibrahim
Secretary General-Dr Phillips Ekpe
Deputy Secretary General-Dr Oseni Saliu
National Treasurer-Dr Eric Anazodo.
