FG quarantines 160 Nigerian returnees from US

‌About 160 Nigerian returnees have arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday morning from the United States.

They arrived at exactly 11am aboard Boeing 787 Ethiopian Airline aircraft with registration number ET-AOQ.

However, they were immediately discharged into seven buses that immediately convey  them out of the airports to isolation centres, an official told CAPITAL POST.

“Five luxury buses were on the ground to pick them (passengers) to the isolation centres in the city.”

“Two civilian buses were also on the ground and the time of arrival was around 11am today (Sunday). They came with a Boeing 787 with registration number ET-AOQ.”
The evacuees would be quarantined for 14 days against COVID-19 to determine their status before they are released.
