DSP, Omo-Agege felicitates with Ekweremadu at 58

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has congratulated his predecessor, Senator Ike Ekweremadu on his 58th birthday.
In a congratulatory message to the lawmaker, Senator Omo-Agege extolled the leadership qualities of Ekweremadu, stressing that he has written his name in gold in the nation’s democratic journey.
He described the three-time Deputy President of the Senate as a stateman, quintessential lawyer and worthy ambassador of Nigeria.
Omo-Agege who represents Delta Central Senatorial District also applauded the Enugu West lawmaker for his services to fatherland.
He noted that Ekweremadu has distinguished himself in both the public and private sectors, having practised as a lawyer and rose from being the President-General of his town union, local government chairman in Enugu State to the nation’s Number Six Citizen.
“I heartily felicitate with you, your family and join your friends and associates to celebrate with you on your birthday and wish you good health and greater prosperity in the years ahead,” Omo-Agege said.
