Breaking: Appeal Court declares Engr. Wada winner of PDP governorship ticket

Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has finally delivered judgment on who the authentic governorship of candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is the November 16 governorship election in the Kogi state.
In the ruling, the appellate court has allowed the appeal of Musa Wada, declaring him as the authentic candidate of PDP in November 16 governorship election in the state.
The ruling which was deliver at the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja in the petition No. CA/A/193/2020, Musa Wada vs Abubakar Mohammed Ibrahim Idris and others confirm the candidature of Musa Wada as the authentic candidate of the party.
The appellate court held that, “it is Crooked colt of discretion for a Court to raise an issue suo motu and determine same without hearing parties”, the court held.
The appellate court further held that, every order made by the trial court that PDP did hold hold governorship primaries for November 16 election in Kogi “are hereby set aside”.
