Lack of social amenities in Loko forced relocation of Kano former Emir to Awe

Former Emir of Kano State, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was on Tuesday afternoon relocated from Loko to Awe Local Government of Nasarawa State.
CAPITAL POST learnt that the former Emir of Kano, who was earlier taken to Loko Development Area of the state, was later airlifted about 1:30pm on Tuesday back to Lafia.
He landed in Government House, Lafia at exactly 2:25pm amidst tight security.
Sources said Sanusi was relocated from Loko as a result of the lack of social amenities in the area.
The Emir of Loko, Alhaji Sabo Abdullahi in an interview with the Voice of America Hausa service early Tuesday said, Loko was too remote and undeveloped for the type of the former Emir to be exiled.
He said Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was a well exposed person, wondering how he would cope with the locals Loko.
