Coronavirus: Aso Rock Villa undergoes fumigation

Nigeria’s Aso Rock Presidential Villa hosting President Muhammadu Buhari was on Thursday being fumigated as a result of the dreaded coronavirus.
Fumigation contractors were seen inspecting the various buildings as at 9. 30 am to commence the exercise, which a source said would cover all the offices.

Findings indicated that as of 11.15 am, the experts were already in the main building housing the office of the President.
Office of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo would also be fumigated, sources said.

According to source, “These people are not from Villa. They came from outside of the town (Abuja city). They are dressed in complete white overalls, masked and wear protective gears.

“The dressing is similar to how the National Centre for Disease Control officials wear their protective gears”,

Those coming to work in the Villa has been scaled down beginning from Tuesday in a bid to address the raging coronavirus pandemic.
CAPITAL POST recalls the Chief of staff to the President, Abba Kyari has been infected and some top government officials.
So far the pandemic has claimed one live in Nigeria.
