Breaking: Our hands are tied, Supreme Court tell Ihedioha in judicial review application

Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma now has a sigh of relief as the Supreme Court on Tuesday abdicated him from being sacked.
The Supreme Court went further to dismiss the application for the review of the decision to sack him as governor of Imo State.
Emeka Ihedioha has sought the relief of the Supreme to remove Hope Uzodinma who was early February declared winner of the March 9, 2019 in its judgement.
A seven-member panel of justices presided by Justice Tanko Muhammad on Tuesday ruled that the court lacks the jurisdiction to sit on appeal over its judgment on the Imo governorship.
In the main judgment read by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola held that the application lacked merit and dismissed the application.
“The judgement of the Supreme Court is a finality,” he said.
Justice Nweze however delivered a dissenting judgement.
Ihedioha’s lawyers were not however awarded cost for inconveniencing the Supreme Court.
