Uzodinma vs. Ihedioha: Tension grip APC ahead of Tuesday’s judicial review

There is palpable fear at the National headquarters of the ruling All Progressives Congress ahead of Supreme Court’s judicial review scheduled for hearing on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020.
At the headquarters of APC, meetings have been going on behind close doors, but sources privy to the meeting on Monday revealed that, things were not at ease considering the cloud of uncertainty ahead of Supreme Court judicial review.
The judicial review was at the instance of the former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, who was sacked by the Justice Tanko Muhammad led panel of five justices.
The judgment which was delivered on January 14th 2020 affirmed Senator Hope Uzodinma of the ruling APC and was sworn-in immediately.
The former governor barely spent eight months in office before he was removed as governor.
